The Northern Illinois Huskies women's basketball team is the college basketball team that represent Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The team last played in the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament in 1995. The Huskies are coached by Lisa Carlsen.
Americký basketbalový tím "Ženy Severného Illinois" je vysokoškolským družstvom, ktoré reprezentuje Northern Illinois University na úrovni NCAA Division I. Tím súťaží v rámci konferencie Mid-American Conference (MAC). Domáce zápasy hrá v hale NIU Convocation Center, ktorá sa nachádza na univerzitnom kampuse v De Kalbe v štáte Illinois. Tím vedie hlavná trénerka Lisa Carlsen, ktorá je vo svojej funkcii od roku 2011. Tím žien Severného Illinois bol založený v roku 1969 a od roku 1981 súťaží v divízii I NCAA. V histórii tímu je niekoľko pozoruhodných úspechov, vrátane víťazstva v turnaji MAC v rokoch 2003 a 2004 a účasti na turnaji NCAA v rokoch 2004 a 2006.
