Tacuarembó Fútbol Club, usually known simply as Tacuarembó, is a Uruguayan football club based in Tacuarembó.
History
Like the inner-country team Rocha, Tacuarembó is a super merge of 21 different clubs, and represents all of the department it is located in, except for the city of Paso de los Toros. The team was relegated to the Second Division after finishing 15th in the 2010–11 season.
Tacuarembó Football Club, jednoducho známy ako Tacuarembó, je uruguajský futbalový klub so sídlom v meste Tacuarembó. Klub bol založený 11. novembra 1938 a jeho domovským štadiónom je Estadio Raúl Goyenola. Tacuarembó v súčasnosti hrá v Primera División Uruguaya, najvyššej uruguajskej futbalovej lige.
Dres klubu tvorí červeno-čierny pruhovaný dres, čierne šortky a červeno-čierne pruhované ponožky. Prezývka klubu je "El Indio" (Indián) a jeho maskotom je jeleň.
Tacuarembó získal tri tituly Segunda División Uruguaya (druhá uruguajská futbalová liga) v rokoch 1976, 1991 a 2004. Klub sa tiež zúčastnil Copa Libertadores, najprestížnejšej juhoamerickej futbalovej klubovej súťaže, v rokoch 1977 a 2013.
